Show your love! How much you feel this?
It’s been about two months since the last mix for the people here on Soul to Unite dot com. In May, we set the house on fire with SD’s tight disco house mix. It has been downloaded more than 1000 times here making it one of the most popular downloads. Now in July SD is back with a new spankin’ mix from a totally different planet. Let the man behind the magic do the talking…
I like to push boundaries, try the limits. Radio Hour and our live performances have always been described as soulful and uplifting – the core of Soul to Unite. But there is so much more in me. Frequent listeners know that every now and then we go deep. Deep down to Africa. And we are greeted with much love and inspiration.
Radio Hour has reached so many people around the globe. We always thought we would love to be heard in Europe, USA… But as our Facebook group tells us, we are so happy to have listeners from South Africa! Something we never “planned” to happen. This mix is a special dedication to you guys and gals from Johannesburg, Cape Town, Pretoria!
Buying African related (deep) house has been my passion for a few years. A recent tweet from Carlos Mena I read the night before mixing this hit the spot like nothing before. He said: “Chicago started it, NY popularized it, but South Africa’s passion for house music is inspiring!”
In my mind I have the African culture which has influenced world of music so much. In my mind I have the people of Africa listening to some guys from a Nordic country called Estonia and enjoying what we have to offer. World truly is one and house is the language we speak.
I hope you all enjoy this mix of house and hang around for more. Becaus there really is more.. A lot more!

The partnership with Soul to Unite and St Patrick’s pub will kick off on 12th of June seeing Radio Hour’s very own SD and Cordis spinning the soulful and uplifting vibes of house music. One week later and DJ A.Sygav of UranFlow will take care of the deep house section.
On the 26th of June, people at pub will have a chance to tune in to the sounds of Jeffy Diamond spinning house and nu-jazz.

Hope all goes well and soon we can present you the July schedule!

It’s been a while since we’ve last put together a mix for the download massive. Yes we still do the show on SS Radio which of course is a mixshow but still… Doing a special mix is something a bit different. Especially for those who don’t like the talking on the show

There is something about US based underground house dj’s. The music they play, the way the play. Even on 21st century with all the globalization, they still manage to be unique to their style. Actually we here at Soul to Unite have never experienced it. The history is just so different. Yet we feel very strong about it.
October’s guestmix is all about that. DJ Renay comes from New York and mixes it up like they do in New York. Renay is easily one of the DJ’s I look up to with her style of mixing and choices of music. It’s underground, it’s raw and it’s true to the soul. Thank you Renay for your mix!
We’re sorry but no tracklisting. You just have to go hunting for the tracks like you did 20 years ago.
Check out Renay’s homepage and MySpace profile.
