“Until You” has many remixes in the pack. The original version along with the Spen’dinga Xtreme mix are more to the disco feel side of house while N’dinga himself takes things deeper. DJ Spen alongside Gary Hudgins & Irvin Madden add a bit of soulful feel to it, yet keeping the nice bouncy beat accompanying all the releases.

All in all, a very decent release and we sure can see why it’s #1 in Traxsource.

Recently mr. Faber celebrated his 10th year in house music. Way back in 2002 he released his first house release “Never Felt So Fly”. Fast forward ten years and the man is still going strong!

2012 sees him releasing new remixes for last years release “Leave Me Alone”. Stunning vocals by Belinda, this track is so lovely it hurts!

New remixes by Alf Tumble, Kocho and Leisuregroove & Kevin Andrews still keep the original vibe. Which of course is a good thing. After all, this is a delicious track and you don’t want to spoil it with anything.

Out of the three, Leisuregroove & Kevin Andrews is a bit more to the dubby side but keeping the flow going nice and sweet. Just a tiny bit darker.

All in all, this is truly a wonderful release from mr. Faber. Grab it here!

Areoma remix is moare laid back with Interselector Moonlight Mix bringing in a nice deeper bassline for those soulful loving dance floors. There’s a dub version too! Very nice build ups in all versions, lovely keyboard solos and smooth beats. One to love!

What do Aaron Ross, Grant Nelson, Ben Watt, Jimpster, Lars Behrenroth, Christian Hornbostel and Dave Storm have in common? Besides being the very cream of house music? They are all featured on Latvia’s online dance music station DanceRadio.lv. And now, Estonian duo Soul to Unite is proud to join the game.

Starting 12th of November, Soul to Unite Radio Hour will air on DanceRadio.lv broadcasted from Latvia and going all over the world.

We are really excited to join DanceRadio.lv and are thankful to Bogdan Taran for inviting us on board. During the three years we have reached many corners of the world being featured on stations from Argentina to UK, from Germany to Greece and Egypt. We’re really glad to be able to visit the eardrums of our southern neighbors.

Radio Hour will air fortnightly, taking turns with Grant Nelson’s famous Housecall show every week.

You know there are so many ways you can enjoy the Soul to Unite Radio Hour. Phones, mp3 players, computers, tablets… Every one of you have (hopefully) a preferred method. But if you don’t, or are just feeling adventurous, here is the first article of tips on how to get connected to the show.

We start with Android, which seems to be becoming the most used smartphone platform. And indeed it offers set of apps which make it a lot easier to tune in. In future articles, we are going to take a look at Nokia smartphones and iOS devices.

We are going to take a look at the options we have tried out and are willing to recommend. There are far more apps but we’ll get there.

Pocket Casts podcasting app

We kick off with little something called Pocket Casts. This popular app is probably the best and easiest way to subscribe to the podcast. The app is not free, but with a price tag of 1.99 euros (about 2.75 USD), it’s well worth the money.

It allows you to subscribe to the podcast and download shows automatically once they become available. The downloads can be handled through cellular data connection or WiFi – the second one is the safest as it avoids extra costs from your operator. There are loads of options for you to set the app up just the way you want.

Once downloaded, the show can be played back using the very same app. It has fast forward and reverse buttons to quickly jump back and forth if you missed something we just said on the show.

The app also has a useful widget you can place on your home screen to fire up the show quick and easy.

Find the show

After you have downloaded Pocket Casts, fire it up and go to search by clicking the magnifying icon on the bottom. Type in ‘soul to unite’ and it should find two feeds – one from SS Radio and the other from our own site. You can subscribe to any one of the two. However, the SS Radio feed uses the generic SS Radio logo as cover art. If you are subscribed to more than one feed from SS Radio, it might get a bit hard to find the exact show.

The second feed comes with our own cover art so you can find the show in a breeze.

So there you have it, Pocket Casts – probably the easiest way to subscribe to the Soul to Unite Radio Hour podcast.

DoubelTwist (with AirSync)

DoubleTwist is one of the most  beautiful music apps for Android. It’s free on Android Market but you’ll also need to install a client for your PC or Mac.

Compared to Pocket Casts, this does take a few more steps to get your tunes on your phone, but some might prefer it – especially if you sync a lot of music.

The desktop client is used to transfer tracks, including podcasts, from your computer to your smartphone. So this is much like what iTunes is to iPhone. In fact, DoubleTwist uses iTunes library, so once you have your tracks on iTunes, they will also be on DoubleTwist ready to be synced to your phone.

Syncing is done on by playlist. You can do playlists both in iTunes or DoubleTwist client.

A simple example

If you use iTunes to subscribe to our podcast, great a smart playlist in iTunes with the criteria of “Soul to Unite Radio Hour” as album title. Just to be sure you include podcasts in your smart playlist, add a genre criteria and type in “podcast” when setting up your smart playlist in iTunes. It might be a good idea to limit the items in the playlist so it won’t sync all one hundred shows we have done by now.

Then fire up DoubleTwist. Make sure it imports playlists from iTunes library (check preferences) and then select to sync the Soul to Unite Radio Hour playlist. Next time you connect your phone via USB, launch up DoubleTwist and it starts to sync.

It does require a few steps to set up, but once you’re done, it’s all nice and beautiful.

AirSync

There was a reference to iTunes and iPhone integration before. And now with the latest iOS version, wireless sync has come to iOS. Well, Android users have been enjoying this feature for a while now time – in DoubleTwist case it’s called AirSync. It does cost a bit of money (4.99 euros, about 6.8 USD) but if you don’t like wires, this is your way to go. Once you fire up AirSync on your phone and on your desktop, it syncs. You just have to connect both of the devices to the same WiFi network.

The ever green voice of Monday Michiru is the one that will grab your attention, but not only. The production here is smooth as butter, top class.

Mr. Feliciano brings you the vocal, instrumental and reprise version which are all great. But once you hear the piano of Namy’s ‘Urban Long Mix’ you are sold. The piano here is a signature sound to so many Japanese house tracks (thinking of Yuma, Daishi Dance for example). Tracks like these is the reason why we are so fond of house music coming from Japan.
