June guestmix DJ BROADWAY

Honestly, we can’t remember how long have we been promising the second guestmix. Must been a month or so at least! Funny thing is, that June’s guestmix has a proper name to suit the ongoing promises. So here it it - DJ BROADWAY presents “FINALLY”!

This is the latest mix from our good friend from New York. Broadway has been a DJ for more than 30 years and has always been a true vinyl soldier. “Finally” includes some of the hottest NYC-house tunes which have been a huge influence for Soul to Unite Radio Hour. We are always looking at Broadway with a massives respect and this mix shows why.

How it went down in Rakvere, with video!

Friday the 6th, I was offered to play at LEJAL NYTE party in Rakvere which is my hometown. This event has a long history and this time it was the 40th time - a kind of a birthday, isn’t it!?

These facts outright for a big and a massive celebration. And I wasn’t wrong. A bit small but kinky Art Cafe was full of crowd… after midnight came even the biggest entering. I was praying that those wooden walls will stay together. Suburban Suspekt started up bringing some beautiful 2step vocal tracks and after midnight Jeffy Diamond took over with a unpredictable turn - room fullfilled with dangerous and bouncin, scribbling sounds. Crowd was goin’ mad over those minimal techno and tech house voices. Huge, huge atmosphere.

It all was unpredicted because we all know Jeffy as a broken beat lover the most. Then I took over the decks bringing some very fresh and kickin’ deep house tunes wich you have probably heard from SoulToUnite radiohour. Its hard to discribe how wild and loving feeling came from the crowd.

And then was time for the moment of surprise - Local most famous group Def Räädu grabbed the microphones and started to rap on my deep house. Aaaiaiaaii… huh, that was something to remember. Def Räädu took seamlessly over the decks and gave a stepping good LIVE to the public.

Mmmm… if you have  chance to listen them somewhere, do it definetely. Party was kickin’ to the morning sun, it was 5am when we were plugged out. The bar  was bought empty of everything and the crowd was leaving with burned legs and smile in their faces - it was a hurricane, as promised.

Radio Hour #10: June 13th

It’s a small celebration. Time to say CHEERS to Soul to Unite Radio Hour! This week’s show is number 10! We are now into double digits and going strong! To mark the occasion, all three of us are in to studio to bring you another lovely set of house.

Two gigs this Friday - Rakvere, Riisipere

Soul to Unite has a busy Friday ahead! Not only it is time for 9th Radio Hour but there are two gigs in Estonia as well.

Starting of with Lejal Nyte taking place in Raklvere. Starting 10PM in Art Cafe, Jeffy Diamond and Suburban Suspekt will be followed by STUs Dj Cordis! Check more info at www.lejalgenes.ee. If you are in Rakvere or nearby, don’t miss this one!

The other gig with STU takes place other side of Estonia. A small uderground place near Riisipere. PROvibe is the name of the night and is headlined by M-Real.
