We have played modern club jazz before but this here is the most attention it has grabbed on the Soul to Unite show. It is a real treat! This year has been amazing in terms of house music. So much quality releases from all over the world, it’s impossible to play the best in one show. Instead, we have two shows dedicated to 2010 and here is part one.

With tracks from Liquideep, Osunlade, Babyface, Sofia Rubina, Roy Ayers and so many others, the part one of the best in 2010 is slightly deeper and easier for your feet.

We are about to hit the very last month of the year. As said before, the two last shows of the year will be all about the top tunes of the year. Many of which are featured on the last show of November as well. With SD behind the decks on the last show and delivering some really soulful tracks, this show is a lot more up-beat with some dance floor smashers thrown in alongside soulful and uplifting house. But not only as Cordis had a real urge to play some latin house.

We start the show with a very special track by Estonian maestro Tõnu Naissoo and is band Kaseke. We fond the opening track from a 7-inch titled “Sõnum” (meaning the message in Estonian), released back in 1981.

After the short intro, it’s all about house and different sides of it. New tracks mixed together with old ones. New soulful tunes from Peven Everett, Distant People are followed by Clown Dallas and Groove Assassins. DJ Cordis is always very fond of latin house and he delivers a few gems from the genre.

With the last few shows, we have been very busy behind the decks mixing together very different sides of house music. From broken beat to jazzy to soulful to in-your-face dance floor killers. As we promised on our Twitter message, this weeks show is mental! So many different sides of house mixed together in this weeks episode with SD & Cordis getting real busy behind the decks.

We start the show with beautiful broken beat before moving to soulful house. About half way through the show we’re ready for a storm with some really massive dancefloor tunes. But to make sure you don’t get a heart attack, we’ll slow things down with some afro-tribal house.

The latest Soul to Unite Radio Hour is all about the hottest tunes. And for a good reason – it’s time to celebrate the birthday of DJ Cordis.

The beginning of the show takes us to Africa, with amazing new track from Sumthyn Black but also african feel from boys from US of A  - Yoruba has remixed Andre Torquato Project and Ezel took his try with ‘I Apologize’ by Oveus Maximus.

The bass and somewhat broken beats take center stage with new music from Maddslinky and MdCL followed by some more African favorites of ours – ‘African Flute’ and ‘Ubuntu’.

But Soul to Unite is mostly recognized by our soulful and uplifting selection and we prove to be top of the game with the remaining of the show. Amazing new remix by DJ Meme, this time of Steven Stone & Anthony Moriah track ‘Lay Your Hands’. Also to take note are the two tracks from Tortured Soul – we’re getting ready to see them in Estonia on 21st of October.

As the World Cup has ended with Spain going home with the trophy, it is still very hard to get our eyes and ears off South Africa. The producers and DJ’s there are really taking house music world by storm and they haven’t passed us unnoticed.
